Ster-Kinekor 3D Kids
A 'three-dimensional' or 3D image that is projected onto the cinema screen displays height, width and the perception of depth. 3D imagery cannot be created without duplicating the effect of two eyes working in tandem, which allows three-dimensional perceptive effects such as depth perception. A 3D movie has two versions of every frame, each one from a slightly different angle, which mimics the way we see the world through our two eyes. This give the illusion of three dimensions. Ster-Kinekor currently has the largest 3D footprint and features 140 state-of-the-art 3D screens at its 58 complexes across the country. To fully appreciate the impact and effect of a film's 3D images, 3D glasses are required to watch a film in 3D.
